Announcing Version 2
We have released the list of new features which are being included in our latest release, which we now feel is worthy of an increase in the version number. All of these have been coded and we hope to start an open beta testing within the next couple of weeks.
Format all Dates with JavaScript
We have published a new article on our Blog describing how our next release will give you greater control over date formats through JavaScript. This is part of our recent work on improving our templating system to give you, the forum admins, greater control over how your forum looks. It will also help make your forums more search engine friendly, which is always one of our top concerns.
Look out for more information on what will be happening in our version 2 - it's our biggest set of updates made so far!
Rich Text Editor Unveiled
After many months in development, users can now try out our rich text editor interface for posting messages. This new "What You See Is What You Get" interface also introduces a number of other new features such as inline uploading of images and spell checking posts. At this stage, it is only available on our support forum, so why not head over there and give it a try?
New Websites!
We've just unveiled our brand new design across our websites. This includes this website, our revamped
forum directory, our new server status monitoring page and our support forum.
I'd like to thank our designer, slip, for all of his work, as well as everyone else who contributed ideas and tested it. If you do find any problems with the new site(s), then just head over to our support forum and let us know.
Embed Videos, RSS 2.0 Feeds, UBBC Docs
We've supported the use of embedded YouTube videos for quite a while, but we've now made them easier to use and have added support for Google Video. As this makes our UBBC system very advanced we've added a new
guide to ubbc tags which lists and explains all the tags available to you along with some examples.

Email & PM Topic Notifications
Users can opt to receive notification to certain topics via either a new private message or as an email. The whole system where users can add and remove notifications is
AJAX
based so that a topic can be bookmarked without the user having to load a new page or navigate away from the topic.
